By using this type of heat protection sleeve you will protect your cables and hoses from radiant heat. The aluminized surface reflects away amost of the heat. The inside of the sleeve is made of fiberglass. Along with fiberglass inside and thealuminized outside this sleeve provides effective protection against radiant heat.
